New water tank arrives

Thank you for the generous donation. David has been able to source a new water tank. Having paid in full, the tank was delivered to the school in early May. The next steps are to build a new concrete pad to bear the weight of the tank. The water from the old tank will be used to mix the concrete.

David has identified a plumber to do the rest of the work which includes fitting gutters to the buildings.

It is a long term goal to connect the school to the local power network which would mean they could have a pump to move rainwater to a higher tank and then have gravity fed system for distribution. Pumping river water is not safe or practical.
