“There is no more stealing. Everyone has something so there is no disparity between the children. The anger and tension is now gone”

“When children were bringing black tea to school the containers were often unhygienic. Children were away from school for days at a time with typhoid, cholera and diarrhoea. Now they can be in school and learn.”

“Girls would stay at home for 3 days at a time because they had no protection and the stigma was too great. Now thanks to the period pants they can be in school every day.”

“Families were in a deplorable state. Now there is one less person to feed at home.”
