High point of the Capital Ring Walk

Woolwich

Annie and Hugh have walked another leg of the Capital Ring to raise funds for Be More Josie.

This section of the walk starting in Woolwich Arsenal is one of great contrasts, rising from the River Thames to Oxleas Meadow, one of the highest points in inner London. Not only are there great views across south-east London it is a beautiful Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) bordering 8000 year old woods.

Severndroog Castle is the highest point on the Capital Ring at over 400ft above sea level.
